Don't You Ever Walk Away

We got some good fire and brimstone from Elder Holland and Elder Klebingat. I was fortunate to get three days in a row with them! Here are some of my take aways, 1.) Don't ever judge about who is ready for the gospel or not (telling us to talk to everyone) 2.) I need to put myself in uncomfortable positions so I can grow. 3.) The Book of Mormon is proof of on going revelation and it ushered in the second coming. 4.) I will never walk away from my mission. 5.) Make daily Book of Mormon reading a habit in my family. 6.) Elder Klebingat said during the YSA meeting that you need to be physically attractive ha! Also, I learned that I am here fulfilling a premortal covenant I made to gather the house of Israel in the last days. I got so many good things out of this and at the end when we were singing "I know that my Redeemer lives" I lost it. It was such a good experience!

This week was so booked that it just flew by! I did an exchange in Ashland city with E. Jackson and we had a good time. It was like Linden over there in that part of our area. Had the 3 rounds of spiritual edification. Then had a sick district meeting with like 16 people! E. White was there and so was E. Doman. I just love those guys.

Then that night Elder Hunter and I had a way cool experience with our investigator who is being baptized this weekend. We get in there thinking we might have to change the date but we get to talking and she said that she feels like she should be baptized! She has been fasting and praying and finally felt like she is ready. We went over the baptismal interview questions and hadn't even taught her the Word of Wisdom. I mention the 5 things that we stay away from and she said "Tea!?" Southerners love their tea. Anyways, she is sad about it but takes a huge leap of faith and grabs all the tea she just bought and gives it to us and says "since it is a commandment, I must follow it." My jaw dropped. I absolutely love the spirit!

We also got transfer calls yesterday and E. Hunter and I are staying! I hope he is the one I am with until I go home. We have so much more work to do and more baptisms coming up. I love all of you and hope yall have a blessed week!
